Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office Hiring Confinement Officers

The Vanderburgh County Sheriff's Office is looking to hire Confinement Officers. Applicants first must pass a pre-qualification test. The Corrections Officer Selection Test or COST is designed to measure basic skills - reading, problem solving and report writing. All skills that a confinement officer must possess. The next round of testing will take place beginning at 9AM on Saturday, September 7, 2019 and is available for the first 30 applicants to contact the Executive Secretary in advance of testing.
