Time Capsule Discovered in Evansville During Deaconess Remodel

A ribbon cutting was held today for the new Deaconess Health Systems Cafeteria. During the ribbon cutting it was revealed that a time capsule had been discovered in one of the walls during the remodeling process! Inside they found a number of items from the late 60s & early 70s including old newspapers, nursing booklets and even hospital administration pamphlets. What a truly exciting and interesting find! It makes me wonder what I would include in a time capsule if I were going to leave one behind from 2018! Take a look at some photos of the step back in time:
