Downtown Evansville Cocktail Bar Set to Host Emmy Award-Winning Comedian Sara Schaefer
Anytime we ask our listeners and online followers about what we really need in Evansville, a comedy club is always at the top of the list. Well, friends we happen to have a quaint little spot that is perfect for comedians and they have an amazing show in the works.
What is Arcademie?
My friend Mandy and I stopped in Arcademie before a concert and I was very impressed by the whole vibe. We attempted to stop in a different bar for a drink but it was just too loud or we were too old. Either way, it led us to Arcademie and I'm glad that it did.
I had a very Liberty dinner of churros and a margarita. Mandy enjoyed some fancy little tacos and they actually had more food on the menu than I expected.
Did someone say FREE video games?
The night that we stopped in there was a group holding their own little pinball tournament.
The World's Smallest Comedy Stage
Arcademie is also home to The World's Smallest Comedy Stage. They have been hosting comedy shows for a little while now, they just aren't every weekend. There is a pretty exciting talent stopping in for a show on June 1, 2023.
Emmy Award winner Sara Schaefer will present her solo show "Going UP" before she headlines the Limestone Comedy Festival in Bloomington. The tickets are very reasonable at only $20 apiece.
