'Tis the season for alcohol infused appetizers.

Nothing starts a holiday dinner quite like a whiskey soaked cherry bomb as an appetizer. If you are hosting a holiday party this year (or if you are just going to one) these will be a crowd favorite! Shoutout to delish for the recipe!

Ingredients:

1 jar maraschino cherries with stems
2 c. bourbon or other whiskey of your choice. Use something nice if you can.
1 c. white chocolate chips
red, white, and green sanding sugar

What to do…

1. Soak cherries in bourbon for 1-2 hours in the fridge. Remove cherries and pat dry with a paper towel.

2. Heat chocolate chips in the microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring in between, until fully melted. DO NOT BURN.

3. Dip each cherry two-thirds of the way into the melted white chocolate, twisting it slightly to help the chocolate stick. Dip the cherry in red, green, or white sanding sugar, coating it halfway up the white chocolate coating.
