So, LOTS of things happened last weekend and this week in the NFL. Good thing I'm here to sort it all out and tell you what you missed this week in the world of football.

The Dolphins will be playing sans Richie Incognito, who has been indefinitely suspended after allegedly harassing teammate Jonathan Martin. The NFL has launched an investigation into these events.

Texans coach Gary Kubiak was released from the hospital this past Tuesday after he collapsed on the field during halftime last weekend during the Colts. vs. Texans game. He apparently suffered a mini-stroke and while he WAS released from the hospital he has not stated when or IF he will be returning as the head coach of the Texans for this season. In his absence interim head coach Wade Phillips will be filling in.

And for the first time since September 29th, JJ Watt managed not to bleed all over anyone. Congrats, buddy.

Denver Broncos coach John Fox underwent aortic heart valve surgery this past Monday which was successful. He was released from the hospital yesterday and is recovering in Charlotte. In his absence, Broncos defensive coach Jack Del Rio will take the head coaching reigns while Fox begins his long recovery.

Good thing the Vikings played on Thursday...because if they would have had to play tomorrow they'd be playing without Jerome Simpson who was arrested earlier this morning for a DWI and is being held without bail. Oops.

Semi-good news on the Viking horizon though! Looks like quarterback Christian Ponder could return as early as next weekend. Ponder dislocated his left shoulder during Thursday nights game against the Redskins and the outlook didn't look too good...But, after getting the shoulder looked at  doctor's said that it was a minor shoulder dislocation and that it was "very possible" for Ponder to start on next Sundays game. No official decision will be made until the Vikings have their Wednesday practice and assess Ponder's arm strength.

I say 'semi-good' because...well...

And the Colts play the Rams tomorrow, but will they have Mathis back? Check out the full Colts injury report for week 10 here.

And that's what you missed this week in FOOTBALL.
