A benefit Pool Tournament will begin Today at the Westside River City Eagles located at 1824 Franklin Street in Evansville, at 7:00 p.m. “Dr. Cue” Tom Rossman, master artistic pool showman, will be making a special appearance at the benefit on Saturday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. Dr. Cue performs entertaining exhibitions across the U.S., writes instruction columns for The American Poolplayer magazine, and holds special performances during APA national events. Money raised will benefit local pool player, Mike Howard, and his family as they battle cancer and struggle with the financial distress that comes along with the diagnosis.

There are several ways the community can take part. Join the tournament; a portion of each team’s entry fee will be donated to the Howard family. Food will be available for sale, and an auction will take place as well. Auction items include the following, and more: Pool cues, gift certificates from local restaurants, hair salon and massage packages, items for pets, homemade baked goods, and bath/body products. The local Evansville APA Chapter has a long standing commitment to serving the tri state area.by helping to raise money for those in need.
