KY Festival to Feature Snake Oil & Jack Russell's Great White

Our station is a proud sponsor of the upcoming Henderson Summerfest. Returning to Western Kentucky for its third year in a row this free event, presented by First Federal Savings Bank, will bring an amazing night of live entertainment while raising money for a good cause.

Third Annual SummerFest Headed to Henderson, Kentucky

There is no doubt that we love a good outdoor festival around here but when you add in live music, delicious food offerings, and the opportunity to give back to local charities, we are 100% here for it!

Henderson Summerfest: Three Friends and a Vision

The vision of three friends and Henderson, Kentucky residents, Jonathan Dixon, Brian Bishop, and Greg "Moon" Mullins, Henderson SummerFest will feature live music with a focus on raising awareness and money for area non-profits. For 2024, Audubon Kids Zone will be the beneficiary of the annual event. While Summerfest is completely free to attend, the public is encouraged to make donations through the SummerFest website which will then go to Audubon Kids Zone, a youth-based organization that empowers kids and cultivates connection with family, school, and community.

What To Expect While Attending Henderson Summerfest

In its third year, Henderson SummerFest will offer up something for everyone. From the activities planned for the kids to the local delicious food options, and the vendor booths too, this is one event you don't want to miss. There will even be a beer garden for those over 21 and an incredible night of live music!

I’m most excited That we are having a third year! After battling the elements in year one, I was concerned that we would not be able to get off the ground. Hopefully, the crowd continues to grow. We hope to grow the number of nonprofits helping highlight at the event. Lindsey James Williams Set to Perform at Henderson Summerfest

Henderson SummerFest is right up our alley and we are proud to be the exclusive media partners for the event. The evening will kick off on the stage with a performance from regional favorite, Lindsey James Williams, an incredibly talented singer, guitarist, songwriter, and looping artist from Western Kentucky.

Henderson Summerfest Welcomes Jack Russel's Great White

Jack Russell's Great White is set to take the state at Henderson Summerfest, as rock icon Jack Russell's legacy continues. Since 2011, Jack Russell and Robby Lochner have been creating music together for the project and it carries that bluesy hard rock feel that we have come to know and love from Russell.

“It’s a powerful band,” <b>Russell</b> proclaims. “The music is dynamic, and I’ve gone where I’ve never gone before. Lochner was a catalyst for moving forward. I wasn’t sure how the writing would go at first, but soon realized the chemistry is beyond words. He’s my copilot and one of my best friends.”

For more than three decades Russell has been creating driving rock music, and Jack Russell's Great White will bring that passion and energy to the stage at Henderson Summerfest. The band is set to release new music soon as well.

"We want the new material to blow people’s ears back,” <b>Russell</b> goes on. “It has the elements of the best of Great White, but there’s diversity, vibe, and an edge to it. It draws from our 60’s and 70’s roots in a more modern way.”

Snake Oil Returns to Henderson SummerFest in 2024

Snake Oil will take the stage later in the evening. The band which started as a way for its members to escape their other projects and blow off a little steam has blown up! Snake Oil has headlined all over North America and after headlining Summest in 2023, they will return to Henderson, Kentucky to bring an all-out rock fest. Snake Oil will unleash their Rock Superstars at Henderson Summerfest as they perform as some of your favorite rock icons from the 70s, 80s, 90s, and beyond including:

When & Where

The Third Annual Henderson SummerFest is happening on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at the intersection of Water Street and 2nd Street, in downtown Henderson, Kentucky. The food trucks, beer garden, and kids activities will kick off at 5 pm CST with the free concert beginning that evening at 6:00 pm. Again, the event is free to attend. However, there are a limited number of reserved tables and VIP tables that will be for sale. A table for 8 is $1,000. The VIP Reserved Tables are $1,200 and include seating for 8, plus meet and greet and photo opportunities with the bands.
