Making sure that late summer will rock, Skillet and Sevendust have announced a co-headlining tour under the moniker the "Vicious War" trek. The run will play out during August and September, with some name support as well.

Pop Evil will serve as direct support to the headliner, while Devour the Day will open the shows. All of the dates for the run are listed below and tickets will go on sale Friday, April 26 at 10AM local time. The tour starts Aug. 11 in Memphis. See all the stops below.

Both Skillet and Sevendust will have VIP offers with meet-and-greets available for their respective fan clubs. Learn more about the Skillet package offer here.

"We're thrilled to be touring with Sevendust," says Skillet frontman John Cooper. "The lineup is incredible and I think the fans will be very happy. We can't wait to play our new songs on the tour and connect with the Panheads out on the road." Skillet have been working on new music and expect to include some of the material on the run. Their official album announcement is expected to come May 7.

"We are looking so forward to touring with Skillet," echoes Sevendust vocalist Lajon Witherspoon. "What an amazing band — these shows are going to be amazing. We can't wait to share the stages with them.”
