Santa’s Mailbox Brings Holiday Magic to Evansville
The magic of the holidays has returned to Downtown Evansville with a favorite local tradition.
Santa’s Mailbox Returns to Downtown Evansville
Whether you’re keeping the magic alive for your kids or just a kid at heart yourself, Santa’s Mailbox offers you the chance to make sure your letters reach the North Pole in time for Christmas.
Located at Third and Main, Santa’s Mailbox is a festive beacon of holiday joy, ready to collect wish lists, drawings, and sweet messages for the big guy himself. Every letter dropped inside will be hand-delivered to Santa and his elves in Santa Claus, Indiana.

Where to Find Free Santa Stationery
To make it even easier, there are free stationery and envelopes available at several Downtown Evansville favorites, including:
- Memo, located at 209 Main Street
- River City Coffee + Goods, located at 223 Main Street
- River Kitty Cat Cafe, located at 226 Main Street
You can also print your own at home!
How to Get a Letter Back From Santa
Just remember, to get a response from Santa, make sure your little ones include a return address on their letter. While there is no stamp needed, all letters do need to be in the mailbox by December 15 to guarantee a reply before Christmas morning.
