Mister Rogers is iconic. 3 to 4 generations have grown up with him, or at least, know who he is. He's timeless. Like Bob Ross or Bill Nye.

The theme song. The sweaters. The changing of the shoes. The creepy puppets that weren't creepy to us at the time, but looking back...sweet lord...

Anyway, my point is: Mister Rogers is awesome.

And his show first aired on February 19th, 1968. In black and white. How do I know it was in black and white? Because I managed to find the VERY FIRST EPISODE of Mister Rogers Neighborhood so I could share it with you, neighbor.
