I know. Its hard to believe that a McDonald's 'chef' isn't some pimple-faced kid that you have to worry about putting spit in your food if you remind him you don't want pickles. But one of their executive chefs posted a video online showing how the restaurant's signature menu item can be made at home.

Apparently realizing that the American consumer will stuff their gullet with anything you place in front of them (KFC Double Down, anyone?), McDonald's realized their Canadian customers may need some persuading.

As part of an ongoing campaign in the country Hockey built, excutive chef Dan Coudreaut demonstrates on Youtube how a Big Mac can be made at home. Using the same ingredients you cook with. He even demonstrates how that famous 'secret sauce' is made. Surprisingly not involving fry cook spit in any way, shape, or form.

Now with the video you can make that very same sandwhich at home without remembering that annoying song "two all-beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions on a sesame seed bun."

Check out the video below and tell me would you attempt to make a Big Mac at home? How would you make it healthier? Or are you content on spending another eternity in their drive thru lane, hoping your arteries clog enough that you don't have to wait longer?
