Get ready, Loudmouths!

Louisville, Kentucky, is gearing up for one of the biggest weekends of the year as Louder Than Life returns September 18–21 to the Highland Festival Grounds at the Kentucky Exposition Center.

Record-Breaking Lineup With 175+ Bands

The festival, a Danny Wimmer Presents production, will bring more than 175 bands across seven stages, marking the largest lineup in DWP’s history. Friday passes are already sold out, and the remaining four-day and single-day tickets are expected to disappear quickly.

Citywide Parties and After-Events

DWP is extending the celebration across Louisville with a citywide lineup of pre- and post-festival events. Loudmouths can stop by a pop-up merch booth at 4th Street Live beginning Wednesday, September 17th, to grab exclusive gear before heading to the festival on Thursday. That same evening, the official kickoff party “Louisville Loves Emo” will bring covers, surprise guests, and nonstop energy to downtown, and it's free and open to all ages.

Throughout the weekend, late-night afterparties will take over at the Crowne Plaza. Additional shows with bands like Dayseeker, Alestorm, Hawthorne Heights, and Escape the Fate have been announced as well.

On September 19, the city will host the Mayor’s Bourbon Brunch and Bluegrass in NuLu, blending live music, local food, and Louisville charm.

Parking and Shuttle Options for 2025

With record-breaking crowds expected, DWP has announced updated parking and transportation options. On-site parking is $40 per day and available in several Expo Center lots, opening 90 minutes before gates. Spaces are first-come, first-served, and they are expected to sell out. Festival Parking Maps can be found here.

Organizers have introduced a new downtown Louisville shuttle service for the 2025 event, running from the Kentucky International Convention Center every 15–30 minutes between 9 am and 1 am each day. Shuttle passes are $25 per day or $100 for all four days. Shuttle riders can park at the Riverfront Garage for just $5. Rideshare and taxi drop-offs will be located in Lot G, while hotel shuttles will operate from select partner hotels. Accessible parking will be offered in Lot B with valid placards.

Kentucky Kingdom Access Included With Passes

As if the new layout and other perks weren't enough, every festival pass now includes free access to Kentucky Kingdom amusement rides, including the Giant Wheel and Lightning Run roller coaster, exclusive to Loudmouths.
