Before Jeffrey Dean Morgan was crushing skulls on the Walking Dead, he was a dad that hunted the supernatural on the show, well, Supernatural. Former castmate Jensen Ackles started a twitter conversation with JDM that makes a surprisingly accurate connection between Supernatural and the Walking Dead...

Supernatural is a show about two brothers who hunt Supernatural things (to put it simply. I mean, it's on its 12th season right now so the premise has gotten a bit crazy...but when you boil it down: The brothers are 'hunters' who hunt bad supernatural things.) Jeffrey Dean Morgan was the father of these two brothers in the first few seasons, until he (SPOILERS) sacrificed himself for Dean...and went on to die in the movie the Watchmen, and then die again in Grey's Anatomy, and then be Thomas Wayne in Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice in which he, you guessed it, DIES AGAIN.

While Supernatural hasn't dealt with zombies all that much, the fact of the matter is, if the Walking Dead's zombie apocalypse were to have happened in the same universe as Supernatural (and happened before JDM was killed off) there is a strong possibility that he could have become Negan.

Or maybe it's just an alternate reality where he doesn't save his sons, they die and he lives, and he just snaps and becomes this baseball bat brandishing bad guy. (Try saving that five times fast.)

Argue all you want, nerds! It's just a theory!

Going off of this theory, Jensen Ackles jokingly sent a tweet to Jeffrey Dean Morgan and started a twitter conversation that I will love until the day I die.

As of 10/29 that was the last of the conversation BUT with both of their busy schedules it may continue at a later date! So follow them to find out @JensenAckles and @JDMorgan on twitter for more of these amazing tweets.
