New Evansville Otters Partnership Brings Lic’s Ice Cream to Bosse Field
A Sweet New Partnership For Otters Fans
The Evansville Otters have teamed up with a hometown favorite – Lic’s Deli & Ice Cream – to bring fans a delicious upgrade at the ballpark. Starting this season, Lic’s will serve as the exclusive ice cream and bread supplier at Bosse Field – that means every scoop and every bite will be made right here in the community.

Otters General Manager Trevor Lakins says building stronger local connections was a big priority this year, and this partnership checks all the boxes. Fans can now enjoy fresh, locally made favorites while cheering on the home team.
Celebrate The Partnership At Lics Downtown
And they’re kicking things off in a fun way! Fans are invited to celebrate the new partnership on Thursday, April 30, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Lic’s downtown location. It’s more than just ice cream (though that’s a pretty great draw). You’ll also have the chance to meet Evan the Otter, snap some photos, and get hyped for the upcoming season.
Why This Collaboration Means So Much
For Lic’s, this collaboration is just as meaningful. Owner Jody Ashby says the partnership brings together two Evansville staples that share a commitment to tradition, quality, and community. And with Lic’s celebrating 76 years in business, it’s a perfect time to look ahead while honoring those deep local roots.

If you’ve lived in Evansville for any amount of time, chances are you’ve enjoyed Lic’s at one point or another. Since opening in 1950, they’ve been serving up homemade ice cream, fresh bread, chili, and more – made from scratch daily. With multiple locations around town, their comfort food has become a go-to for generations.
