Kentucky Water Park Announces New “Kupuna River” Attraction For Family Fun
Venture River Water Park in Eddyville, Kentucky, has been THE place for summer fun in Western Kentucky for over 30 years. They open for the Summer 2026 season on May 23rd, and when they do, guests will be able to enjoy a brand-new family attraction!
Venture River Water Park Introduces New Attraction
“Kupuna River is going to bring an entirely new level of fun and adventure to Venture River,” said Andrea York, Manager/Co-Owner. “We wanted to create an attraction that offers excitement, relaxation, and family experiences all in one.” Andrea's parents are the fun-lovin' folks who opened the park back in 1994.
Choose Your Own Adventure
Featuring over 16,000 square feet of river that winds around the park, I love that they are calling it a "choose your own adventure" river vs. a "lazy river" as they are often referred to. As shared in the press release, "Riders can relax and float along a smooth, scenic journey or take a fast-paced detour around the bend for an added splash of excitement."
Inclusive, Family-Friendly Fun This Summer
This way, guests of all ages can experience the water journey however they'd like. With zero-depth entry and no height restrictions (the water is 38 inches deep, just FYI), the whole family can hop in and have fun together.
Venture River Water Park Fun For All Ages
Of course, Venture River Water Park also has some epic slides and special water features, so it is an awesome place to spend a hot summer day. Whether you have littles who would love Soak City, or thrill-seeking big kids ready for the speed slides or The Cliffhanger, you'll have a blast!
