Hi friends! I am so excited to be the new morning co-host of 92.5 The Country Station with Chad! I was born and raised right here in Owensboro, KY minus four awesome years at The University of Louisville (Go Cards!) My favorite movie of all time is the 1985 comedy whodunit, Clue. Spoiler alert: The singing telegram part gets me every time. When it comes to music though, I just cannot bring myself to narrow it down to one favorite. On my playlists you will find Country (of course), Rap, Pop, R&B, Indie, Rock, Metal, Funk, Soul… just whatever fits the mood! I love a good true crime documentary or trashy reality show. When can we get a Real Housewives of Owensboro? Floating in a pool, whoopin’ it up at karaoke, and reading (shout out to The Fabulous Ladies Reading Club!) are some of my favorite things to do. I also love to thrift/antique shop and my favorite treasures to find are quirky knick knacks and tacky paintings. It’s totally not hoarding if the stuff is cool! One of my favorite things to do is to “remix” the paintings I find into new pop-culture inspired art. My husband Michael AKA Hunkasaurus Rex is my best friend, cheerleader, sweetie pie, and a local metal legend. My son Rollins is amazingly smart, kind, creative and keeps us laughing. We have two cats, Bebe and Swayze, and a Golden Retriever named Freddie. They all drive me bonkers, but I love them so much! As a lifelong volunteer at Theatre Workshop of Owensboro, I serve on the board of directors and can often be found painting sets, directing, performing and everything in between. As a member of IMPACT100 and the Leadership Owensboro Class of 2023, I have a passion for giving back to my community and making it a better place for all who live here.
