You want to know my least favorite thing about Easter is? The EASTER BUNNY. He absolutely gives me the creeps and he always has. And folks have had some fun at my expense because of it, too. And, yes, it is all in good fun.

So in the spring when we're trying to figure when Easter will be--I never CAN pin it down--there are seven or eight foot tall rabbits walking around and it's not cool.

At Christmas, I WELCOME encounters with Santa Claus, but, hey, it's SANTA.

IT'S HALLOWEEN -- MICHAEL MYERS' TIME TO SHINE

But what I need most in life is someone who goes all in at Halloween and does what this Indiana man does; he dresses as the MOVIE Halloween's Michael Myers--one of the holiday's most iconic figures--seemingly everywhere he goes.

I love this. Yes, I can see where it would be a tad unsettling to look up and see Michael Myers walking toward you; he's one of the creepiest horror movie villains of all time. But as far as I'm concerned, it's PERFECT this time of year. He could also bring Jason Voorhees from Friday the 13th along for the ride, for my money. But he does seem to be a solo act. And it doesn't appear as if his wife is game for the costume at all times.

MICHAEL MYERS OF DECATUR ROCKS HALLOWEEN...AS IT SHOULD BE

MICHAEL MYERS AND FAMILY OFF TO GATLINBURG

He even drives in the costume--I'm not sure how--and has a little buddy named Chucky accompanying him and his family on a trip to Gatlinburg.

MICHAEL MYERS OF DECATUR -- MAKING HALLOWEEN SPECIAL FOR EVERYONE

Let me tell you, if his wife is acting, she is doing a great job. I am seriously enjoying her "reactions" to all of these Halloween shenanigans. Michael Myers of Decatur is a guy named Evan and he is clearly having the time of his life.

And while it IS all in fun--with the anticipation of some shock factor for good measure--Evan has also made this a very special Halloween for K.R. Rogers, who shared this comment:

Evan, I lost a brother to suicide in 1993. We weren’t close.
The only thing we enjoyed together were the Halloween movies and Michael Myers.
My brothers name was Evan. You make me smile because your name reminds me of my brother and Michael who usually scared me makes me laugh as well as remind me of my brother. I also love hearing your wife say your name when she’s mad at you. I’m sure you don’t like hearing it. Thanks for your service Evan.
That had to have been a nice bonus for Evan and his family. I am certainly an instant fan and wish him and his a very happy Halloween. He's clearly made it special for so many people already.
