Check your cabinets for Gold Medal Unbleached All Purpose Flour in the 5 pound bags. General Mills has issued a voluntary recall due to risk of contamination by a strain of E. Coli. The affected products have a use by date of September 6, 2020. While General Mills has not received any reports of consumers becoming ill from the product, the recall has been issued out of an abundance of caution. If you do have a 5 pound bag of Gold Medal Unbleached All Purpose Flour with a best by date of September 6, 2020, General Mills suggests that you dispose of the remaining product.
