Another Chance For Animals

Another Chance for Animals is a foster-based rescue in Evansville. I'm personally a big fan of them as they are who rescued my dog, Wrigley.  Wrigley is my 9-year-old pit mix who I adopted from Another Chance for Animals at 8 weeks old.  She's been my best friend, and trusty sidekick ever since.

So to say this rescue has a special place in my heart is an understatement.   They recently put a call out to Facebook that they are in need of fosters, adopters, and people to help transport animals to and from vet appointments.

Volunteer with ACA

There are a few great ways you can help out Another Chance for Animals, you can adopt an animal through them, foster an animal through them, transport animals to vet appointments, or even just make a monetary donation.  All are great ways to help them out.

Here's what they said about needing volunteers specifically on the Another Chance For Animals Facebook page:

We are in desperate need of volunteers!!!
We need people that can help transport animals to and from vet appts. We know gas prices are crazy right now, but the city of Evansville is only 13 miles wide, and you'd likely never travel more than 20 miles round trip. You have to like animals of all shapes and sizes.
**A couple people with early morning availability 7:30-8:30 A.M. would be highly appreciated.**
We also needs fosters and adopters! We are a foster-based rescue, so we cannot continue to do what we do without fosters. In order to foster, you need to prove that you can have animals at your home. Your personal pets must be spayed/neutered or all one gender and preferably UTD on all vaccines and preventatives. We also ask that you have availability to bring your foster to adoption events which are typically every other Saturday at PetSmart. We take care of the vetting and even have some food available, so you offer a safe loving home while we get them ready for their forever.
