Dragons, Fire and Fantasy Ball Coming to Evansville

If you've ever dreamed of stepping into the pages of your favorite fantasy novel, you may want to clear your calendar for November 21.

An immersive fantasy ball called The Gathering of Wings and Flame is coming to Evansville, promising an evening filled with dragons, magical characters, breathtaking performances, and plenty of opportunities to become part of the story.

And yes, dressing as if you belong in a fantasy kingdom is actually required.

A Fantasy World Comes to Life at the Bauerhaus

Hosted by Ignite Fantasy, the adult-only event will transform the Bauerhaus into a world inspired by dragons, ancient kingdoms, and legendary adventures.

Guests can expect professional fire and aerial performances, music, dancing, interactive characters, and a marketplace featuring fantasy-inspired artisans.

Throughout the evening, attendees may encounter nobles, rogues, dragon keepers, and wandering adventurers, some with stories to share or quests to offer.

Fantasy Costumes Are Required

Whether you want to arrive as royalty, a dragon rider, a wandering ranger, a pirate, or a mysterious mage, this is your chance to get creative.

Fantasy-inspired attire is required, but organizers say costumes don't have to be expensive or elaborate. Renaissance festival clothing, cosplay, and fantasy-inspired formalwear are all welcome.

When Is the Gathering of Wings & Flame?

The event takes place Saturday, November 21, 2026, at the Bauerhaus in Evansville.

General admission begins at 7 p.m., with VIP guests admitted at 6 p.m. Attendees must be at least 18 years old.

General admission tickets are $199 per person or $349 for two. VIP admission is $249 per person or $429 for two.

Tickets include live entertainment, access to the artisan market, two complimentary beverages, and gourmet hors d'oeuvres. VIP guests also receive early admission, exclusive experiences, and a collectible dragon egg with its own special quest.

Tickets must be purchased in advance.
