Elmira Is A Sweet Old Lady Looking For A Loving Lap

There's no doubt that here at GBF we love animals and we definitely are all in agreement that rescued is our favorite breed. We've been featuring adoptable dogs for quite a while now but we felt like it was time to get a little di-puurrr-sity on GBF. We've teamed up with the Posey Humane Society in Mount Vernon to bring you an adoptable cat of the week. Each week we'll be sharing a photo of one of PHS's adoptable kitties along with some details about each cat.

Elmira is an older lady who is looking for a loving lap to call her own. Her birthday is coming up soon and she'll be 11 years young! Elmira definitely would prefer to live out the rest of her 9 lives as an only pet. Elmira is current on all of her vaccines and is micro-chipped but due to her age, she has not been spayed. Posey Humane Society has plenty of other kitties as well as lots of dogs, both young and old. Their adoption fees are $30 for cats, $50 for kittens up to 6 months old, $100 for dogs and $150 for puppies under 6 months old. The adoption fees include their microchip, spay or neuter, heartworm test and getting the animal up to date on vaccines.
