Christmas Vacation Turns 30 This Year & Is Returning to The Big Screen
We're going to have the hap-hap-happiest Christmas! On December 1st 1989 National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation was released, and has since turned into a mega holiday classic. 2019 marks 30 years since the film came out, and to celebrate it's coming back to the big screen to celebrate.
Christmas Vacation has become one of my favorite Christmas movies. It's one that it doesn't matter how many times I've seen it, if it's on TV, I'll stop and watch it. It doesn't matter that I've seen it a thousand times, it still makes me crack up each time I watch it. It's actually become my husband and I's yearly tradition that we have to watch Christmas Vacation at least once during the Christmas season.
This year we may just have to change the tradition up a bit though and see it on the big screen. National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation will be showing for one week at AMC Theatres for the 30th anniversary. I checked their website and it'll be showing in Evansville the week of 12/6-12/12, click here to get the dates and times the movie will be showing.
