Camp Up to 9 Months in KY & TN at Land Between the Lakes with Seasonal Program
As the traditional camping season comes to a close for 2021, Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area has opened up the application process for their 2022 Seasonal Camping Program.
I love camping. There is something really magical about being out in the woods with nature and it is definitely one of my favorite things to experience. Unfortunately, there are so many places that I have never visited before that my camping bucket list keeps growing and growing.
We can now add Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area to that bucket list. While I have visited the Land Between the Lakes - spanning Kentucky and Tennessee and situated between Kentucky Lake and Lake Barkley - I have not had the privilege of camping there yet.
While I was doing some investigating on what the Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area has to offer, I discovered that they offer a Seasonal Camping Program that allows you to reserve a campsite for as few as three consecutive months and as many as nine consecutive months!
There are n148 seasonal campsites spread out across five campgrounds within Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area that allow seasonal camping - in Kentucky, Cravens Bay, Taylor Bay, Hillman Ferry, and Wranglers Campgrounds and in Tennessee Piney Campground.
There is an application process for these sites and the fees are due at the time of booking for the 2022 season. Applications are now being accepted through January 14, 2022, for the camping season.
