Ronnie James Dio lost his fight to cancer 5 years ago.  We truly lost one of the greatest frontmen in hard rock and metal when RJD passed.  He first claim to fame was as lead vocalist in Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow.  He later replaced Ozzy in Black Sabbath and then started his own very successful solo career.  Dio was rocking the stage for 50 years and he left most of us with great memories.  I met and interviewed RJD when he played Roberts Stadium in the early 80's with Dokken as support act.  He was one of the most kind and gracious rock stars I've ever met.   Let's celebrate Ronnie's birthday with a select few of his finest work over the years. You know I love to post "Live In Concert" videos...so here we go. R.I.P Ronnie!
