Bullying has been around forever, but it’s really come to the forefront over the last few years with experts and educators weighing in with different ways to solve this problem that affects so many kids.

Recently Nadia Ilse, a 14-year-old girl in Georgia, was given complimentary plastic surgery so she could pin back the ears that had made her the target of bullies. In addition, the surgeon evened out her nose and her chin.

Is plastic surgery as a way to prevent bullying going to become a trend? A new poll from RealSelf.com suggests it might, as 68 percent would allow their child to get plastic surgery if it stopped bullying.

According to The American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons, procedures done on 13-to-19-year-olds were up five percent between 2010 and 2011.
