At the start of every baseball season, when the air is crisp and clean and the grass on the field is at it's greenest and freshly manicured, that is the time when hope is most alive in the heart of a Cubs fan.  In the past couple of years, those hopes have been dashed and the old saying that Cubs haters begins to ring true...C.U.B.S = Completely Useless By September.   I saw my first game at Wrigley Field 41 years ago.  A game against the Houston Astors which the Cubs won.  I have been hooked ever since.  I also have mainly been disappointed ever since.   This season is another wash out unfortunately, which is why I'm wearing a Tigers hat today.  Y'see, to a much lesser degree, I also follow The Detroit Tigers in the American League.  They get only a small part of my love and attention, whereas I am smitten with the Cubbies who continually break my heart.  The song in the video below pretty much says it for me...
