I think everyone should support their local rock scene.  As of now it is fairly nonexistent.  We're trying to change that by giving tri-state bands some exposure on our website and maybe more.

This Local 103.feature will begin in early September, or when I have enough quality music to play. I will put 4 bands You Tube videos also with a poll on our website.  Voting will start on Monday, and Friday afternoon I'll announce the winner and play the winning song on the air.  So you'll have nearly a full week to vote for you favorite band out of the four that I post, and you can vote as often as possible. If you try to vote more than that, you'll be blocked from voting for a 24 hour period.

So here's a little criteria for band members.

You Must submit your song in a You Tube video

We cannot host your music due to copyright laws, but if You Tube hosts the music we just embed your video, It's easy to make a You Tube video.  Lay in your pictures, like of the band, album cover, logo or Lyrics.

Your song must be of studio quality.

I've yet to hear an awesome mix from a 4 track studio.  Sounding good in a big part of the Criteria.  We don't care what genre of rock the song is, and long as the language and images are suitable for public consumption.  Unlike on the radio, an occasional drop of the "F" bomb is ok on the website, as long as you don't try and rival the number of "F Bombs" in "Scarface"  BTW, the video quality is not nearly as important as the audio qualit.

So that;s it, that the basics.  E mail me your You Tube link to your video.  The sooner I get multiple entries, the sooner the Local 103 Battle for Supremacy can begin.
