Dave Westrich

I grew up in Cincinnati, watching the Reds and Bengals play.  I began my radio career at my high school radio station, WNSD (Colerain High School).  It occurred to me that being able to play music and talk AND get paid for it was an awesome concept, so I pursued it, eventually ending up in Evansville.  Throughout the 80's and early 90's, I learned the ropes of radio in several different positions on WGBF AM and WKDQ.  Johnny Kincaid and I worked at 'KDQ where he took care of mornings and I followed at midday.  My radio hiatus came in spring of '92 when I attended U.S.I. to become an educator.  I acquired my B.S. and began teaching shortly thereafter.  Although I had a great time with the wonderful kids of North Spencer, I made the decision to return to the airwaves in June of 2011, just so I could spend my days nagging Johnny Kincaid!  I have an absolutely wonderful wife, Jenny,  and two awesome kids, along with some other little critters.  Now I get to spend the afternoons with you!
