The Evansville Christian Life Center is one of those places that wants to improve our community one person at a time, and the people involved with the ECLC are getting the job done!  April is the month of the ECLC's Poverty Awareness Campaign called, "30 Days of Poverty."  Several events are connected with this campaign, and one of the events is, "Shoeless Sunday."  It's a way that you can help people in the community!

Here's how it works...talk with your church, club or organization leaders and get them involved in this, then you donate your shoes to your church.  The shoes will then be given to Soles4Souls, an organization that will then exchange those shoes for new ones, which will then be given to people in your community who need them!

You may also donate your gently used shoes directly to:

Here's a short video of what Soles4Soles does.  If you watch, please watch it entirely - it's only a couple of minutes long!
