Mesker Amphitheatre, Roberts Park, a new indoor pool to replace the aging Lloyd Pool and a new penguin exhibit at Mesker Park Zoo & Botanic Garden will be the focus of the May Traveling City Hall Program. The meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 25, at Swonder Ice Arena, 209 N. Boeke Rd., from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

Mayor Lloyd Winnecke will open the meeting with introductions and announcements, and an overview of the administration’s Build 4 Evansville quality of life initiatives announced in April.

After a brief presentation, Mayor Winnecke, Mesker Park Zoo Director Amos Morris and Parks Department Executive Director Brian Holtz will be available to talk one-on-one with residents about Build 4 Evansville.

Other city department heads will also be present to discuss issues related to local government. The meeting is open to the public, and all are welcome to attend.

A special Traveling City Hall will be held at Eastland Mall on Saturday, June 25, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The July Traveling City Hall meeting will be at Central Library, 200 SE Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., on Wednesday, July 27, from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
