Books aren't the only thing you can check out from your local library.

Thanks to a partnership between Mesker Park Zoo & Botanic Garden and several public libraries across the Tri-State, families can bow borrow Zoo passes that provide free admission for an entire household.

I had no idea this program existed, and if you're anything like me, you might be adding "visit the library" to your weekend plans.

What Does a Library Zoo Pass Include?

Each Library Zoo Pass includes:

  • Admission for up to two adults
  • Admission for up to four children under age 18
  • Complimentary tram rides during your visit

The passes can be checked out through participating public libraries, giving families an affordable way to spend a day exploring one of Evansville's favorite attractions.

Because passes are limited, it's a good idea to contact your local branch before making the trip.
