Libraries, they're not just for books anymore.

The Evansville Vanderburgh Public Library will observe Black History Month with a series of programs and displays, a reading challenge, and a new art contest.

19-year-old Mayana Lifchitz and her father Yosef, started "Books 4 Cause" in 2009 after seeing textbooks thrown away after just a year of use.  Since then, hundreds of books have been donated which is what inspired them to open a free library...

The Barbara Bush Public Library in Texas came out with a commercial featuring Curbside Larry, and people can't get enough of him. Texas Monthly reports that Curbside Larry is a parody of a local late night used car sales ad. Curbside Larry debuted in July and quickly became an internet sensation...

Everyone is invited to participate in the summer reading celebration, and you do NOT need an EVPL card to participate.
