Some people in Chicago already say the apocalypse is upon them, with the recent announcement that rock station Q101 could go to a news talk format. But the Chicago Tribune is interested in another attack. Robots.

With the recently released 3rd installment of the Transformers series, the Tribune hired a property expert to do an estimate on the damage caused by the robots.

In fact owners of the Willis (a.k.a Sears) Tower, asked that the producers not show the tower being destroyed due to fear of attack. However, a number of other Chicago landmarks are destroyed.

Other places such as expensive downtown hotels, and numerous corner restaurants are also taken out. They even got Dunkin Donuts...bastards.

So what's the estimate? $8 Billion dollars. And considering the damage that Autobots can cause, that's not too bad. The robots only appear to take out 20 million square feet of office space. So there are plenty of places to figure out why in the hell robots are attacking.

Oh did anyone mention to the Tribune that ITS A MOVIE???

What if robots attacked Evansville tomorrow, whats your estimate for damage? I'd guess about a billion, cause you take out one meth lab and the entire economy for that neighborhood suffers.
