The West Side Nut Club Fall Festival will once again hold its annual half-pot drawing, and we've got everything you need to know.

What Is the West Side Nut Club Half Pot

The annual Evansville tradition takes place every year on West Franklin Street on the city's west side, and it is so widely celebrated that the event was named the official winner of the #1 Fall Festival in the USA for 2024!

Talk about some bragging rights! The festival, now in its 104th year, is almost like a rite of passage for anyone new to the Southern Indiana area, and for those who have grown up here, we don't dare miss it, and for good reason.

The festival is the biggest fundraiser of the entire year for many of the more than 140 local non-profits that will line the street to sell delicious fare. From west side strombolis and classic kuchen to loaded potato soup and Mardi Gras favorites like boudin balls, you can find it all.

How Big Has the Jackpot Grown in the Past

You can also find the chance to win some cash. The West Side Nut Club held its very first half-pot in 2019. That year, the pot grew to over $1.2 million, with the winner taking home more than $600,000. In 2020, despite no actual festival taking place, the half-pot brought in $1.4 million. Making a return in 2021, there were $1,515,260 worth of tickets sold, more than $1.6 million in 2022, and over than $1.8 million in 2023. Last year, the half-pot total broke the $2M mark!

If you're ready to shell out a little money for the chance to take home a big prize, presale will begin on Wednesday, October 1, 2025. That's when the drive-thru-only booth will open for business in the parking lot of Mead Johnson.
