Now, the question posed by the meme was not "what are you afraid of?" but rather what "weird phobia" do you have? Personally, my phobia seems incredibly irrational, if I'm being honest, but I am absolutely afraid of it.
My Phobia Involves the Disposal and a Power Surge
At home, we use shaker cups for protein powder. Sometimes the little wisk balls fall into the garbage disposal and I have to stick my hand in there to get them out. I have a fear of a power surge that would somehow turn the disposal on right at the moment my hand is inside.
What Is the Fear of Submerged Objects?
The responses I got from my friends and followers on Facebook were all over the place and honestly, I even learned some new words like: submechanophobia (a fear of submerged artificial objects) and trypophobia.

What the Heck is Trypophobia?
Actually, several people shared that they experience trypophobia, or the fear or aversion to small holes or bumps. The responses offered a cool look into the inner workings of other people's brains.
