I think I got turned onto rock about the age 8 when I heard by cousin's Steppenwolf album.  "Magic Carpet Ride" and "Born To Be Wild" inparticular hooked me hard.  He also had albums by Cream and Jimi Hendrix.which just deepened my love of rock as a kid.  I've been smitten ever since.  A pivotal time for my passion was when I was 16 and heard the Boston song "More Than A Feeling on the radio.  My friend Kurt Gross and I rode our bikes from the Bosse High School district to Ayr-Way on Green River Road to purchase the full Boston album.  We went back to his house and listened to the entire album at least 10-12 times through.  All day, it was Boston day.  When I started working for 103.1 which was called KC103 at the time we played every single track on that Boston debut album.  I still love it to this day, even though we're not a station that plays that band.  When it was announced Boston was coming to the Ford Center (Tonight 7/15) I was asked by their publicist if I'd do an interview with a band member., I said "Not unless it's Tom Scholz!"  I was told he rarely does interviews, but they would try.  My wish came through last Friday, and below is the interview that's posted on the 103GBF You Tube Channel here. It's also posted below for your convenience
