Bad Company's first album, "Bad Company" was released on this day in 1974. 

 

Facts About This Album:

-Their debut album was also the very first album to be released on Led Zepplin's new record label Swan Song Records.

-This album has been certified platinum 5 times.

-It was the 46th best selling album of the 1970's.

-Kerrang! magazine listed it as #40 on their "100 Greatest Heavy Metal Albums of All Time"

-This album is listed in the "1001 Albums You Must Here Before You Die"

-There were three singles released off of the album:

 

"Can't Get Enough"

 

 

"Movin' On"

 

 

and, one of their best known songs "Bad Company" (by the band Bad Company, from their album Bad Company.)

 

 

 

Which, decades later, became one of my favorite remakes by Five Finger Death Punch. Which was actually their highest "U.S. Mainstream Chart" ranking at the time, peaking at #2 back in 2010, and is their only song to date that has ever gone Platinum.
