Nearly 400 Children Go Missing Annually in Tennessee
In Tennessee alone, officials say that number is nearly 400 every year, according to reports. Below you will find 40 children who have been reported missing, as shared by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigations.
According to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigations, a missing person is someone whose whereabouts is unknown to someone who has normal contact with them like a parent or caregiver. They say a missing person can be someone who has been abducted or may be someone who left home on their own.
<p>A missing person is someone whose whereabouts is unknown to a parent, caretaker or others who have normal contact with the person. A missing person can be a child who has left home on their own, anyone who has been involuntarily abducted, or any individual who cannot return to safety without assistance. There is no waiting period to report a person missing.</p><p> </p>
