I have gone to the Fall Festival Every. Single. Year. since I was a baby. But despite this, there are still some "classic" Fall Fest foods I've never tried.
This has to be one of the best Fall Festivals in recent memory. The weather was absolutely perfect all week long, which meant big time money for all of the non-profit booths, and for the West Side Nut Club, which donates proceeds back to the community.
This year's Fall Festival has to be up there as one of my favorites! Sure I saw a bunch of old friends, and that's always awesome...but what made it extra great was meeting so many cool new people!
In the time you have left at this year’s Fall Festival, make sure you visit the Youth Resources booth (#135) and try their ‘Pig in the Mud.’
I want you to meet my new friend Angie. She's one of the awesome folks working at the Tekoppel Tiger's Den, booth #71 at the Fall Festival. She and her friends are slangin' some Ski Pie!
I like to think I'm really honest when it comes to endorsing a Fall Festival food item, and I can tell you that the 'Walk-Off' chop at booth #95 is one of the best pieces of meat you will find on Franklin Street.
Take my advice on this one...if you are a fan of a good grilled cheese sammich, visit booth #121 at this year's Fall Festival. Your belly will thank you.
Last year I showcased their "regular" grilled cheese sandwich, which is available again this year...
The City of Evansville will once again offer lunch time shuttle service to the West Side Nut Club Fall Festival for Civic Center employees, downtown workers and other area residents from Monday, October 3, through Friday, October 7.
Everyone's favorite week-long street festival, the West Side Nut Club Fall Festival, will celebrate its 95th year of existence October 3rd through the 8th, and once again this year you'll be able to buy your all-you-can-ride wristband ahead of time for a discounted price!
The accolades continue to roll in for Evansville native, and Olympic gold medalist, Lilly King, as she has been named the Grand Marshal of this year's West Side Nut Club Fall Festival Parade.
