Taco John’s Hopes to Set Record of 500k Tacos Eaten on 8/13

Taco John's has set a lofty goal for themselves today. In honor of their 50th birthday, the Wyoming-based restaurant chain is celebrating by offering their classic tacos for just $0.69. Now, while that is certainly a great price for a taco, they are also trying to set a record today too. They have a pretty lofty goal of reaching 500,000 tacos eaten in a single day between their almost 400 locations spread across 27 states. I don't know if 500,000 tacos is an attainable goal or not but I can tell you that I don't have any problem trying to help break that number. I mean, it's Tuesday. I'm hungry. I like tacos. That seems like a win win to me. In all seriousness though, congratulations to Taco John's for 50 years in business. That is no small feat and definitely deserves to be celebrated.
