This home for sale in Chicago, Illinois sits on the property formerly occupied by the home of serial killer John Wayne Gacy  and is the site where he buried 26 of his victims.

The house currently located at 8215 W Summerdale Avenue in Chicago is not the home that the Gacy, known at the Killer Clown, lived in but it sits on the property of the home that he did live in. Inside that home, it was found that Gacy had buried the bodies of 26 of his victims in the crawl space under his house. It's believed that Gacy assaulted and killed at least 33 boys and young men before finally being arrested in connection to multiple murders in 1978, although it wasn't his first run in with police. He had been convicted nearly a decade earlier for sexually assaulting two boys. He was sentenced to 10 years for those crimes but was later released on parole in 1970.

The home that Gacy lived in was demolished some years later and a new house was built on the property in 1986. That home, complete with vaulted ceilings, loft and 2 car garage and boasting 2,500 square feet is being sold "as is." It appears, according to public records, that the house has been on the market since July 2019 with an asking price of $489,000. Since then the price has been dropped a few times and it seems at one point in April of 2020 that it may have had a sale pending but was later put back in the market. The current asking price for the home is $435,000 but  Keep reading to see inside the home.
