The 4-million dollar Stop Light City project just got a big boost with the official design for it's very first piece of playground equipment thanks to a donation from 911 Gives Hope.

Stop Light City will bring a state of the art playground facility to Evansville's west side will feature a transportation theme to celebrate the history of Evansville. The design plans have just been released for the first piece of equipment, styled after a fire truck, that will be installed into the new playground. Thanks to a donation from 911 Gives Hope, the design will now be able to go into the production phase.

The park will sit at the corner of 11th and Indiana street, just a few blocks from Franklin Street and has a projected cost of $4 million to bring into fruition. If you'd like to make a donation to Stop Light City you can do so on their website.
