Rocky Horror Picture Show Showing in Owensboro this October
It's almost time to come up to the lab and see what's on the slab, you'll probably shiver with antici....pation while waiting for October. One of my favorite October traditions was always getting dressed up with friends and going to see The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
If you've never seen the Rocky Horror Picture Show in a group setting like this, you are missing out! On October 29th you have the chance to do just that at the Owensboro RiverPark Center. They'll be showing The Rocky Horror Picture Show, and with your ticket, you get a goodie bag. The goodie bags typically have everything you need to be fully prepared for the show. This isn't your regular sit-down and be a quiet movie showing experience. Everyone gets dressed up, and quite literally interacts with the movie. People shout at the screen, get up and dance, throw toast, and use squirt guns when it's raining. It's truly an experience everyone should enjoy at least once.
My friends and I used to go to Rocky Horror every year, and one year I even made my very own Eddie (Meatloaf's character) costume. I was (and honestly still am) very proud of how it turned out. I actually still have the vest. Here's a photo that was taken on my old iPhone 4, that's how long ago I made this thing!.
Here's what RiverPark Center said on Facebook about the upcoming showing:
