An Ohio Amusement Park

Kings Island is an Amusement Park located in Mason, Ohio. It's not too far of a drive from the Tri-State being fairly close to Cincinnati (I like to use big cities as location points so I can gauge how far I am from something). Kings Island is known for its many roller coasters, and is a great place for those seeking a thrill! In the summertime, they also have a waterpark called Soak City for those hot summer days.

Summer Concert Series

This summer, Kings Island is hosting a summer concert series, and a few rock acts are joining in on the fun. Artists like Candlebox, 3 Doors Down, and Skillet will be taking the stage.

Here are the rock acts lined up for the Kings Island Concert Series:

June 28th, The Avett Brothers
July 22nd, 3 Doors down with Candlebox
July 23rd, Skillet with Jordan St. Cyr
August 7th, Daryl Hall and the Daryl's House Band with Todd Rundgren

Tickets for these concerts are on sale now, but something to be aware of, if you're wanting to enjoy a day at Kings Island and then an evening rocking out, you'll have to pay two separate fees. It'd be kinda cool if they did a discount for both, but if you want to go to the concert, the price for that is separate from your admission to Kings Island. However you don't have to go to Kings Island, maybe amusement parks aren't your thing, you can just purchase a concert ticket and not worry about admission to the park. Check out all the info, here.
