One of the most sought-after and acclaimed basketball sneakers from Nike's extensive vault is the Air Foamposite One, a shoe made famous by former NBA player Anfernee "Penny" Hardaway. First released in 1997, the shoes have been released in a number of colorways and iterations since its debut and still remains as one of the most coveted sneakers from the Nike brand. Now, after releasing in a variety of colorways, Nike looks to go back to the basics and release the most standout colorways of the sneaker.

According to sneaker publication Shoe Game, the Swoosh is planning to rerelease the Air Foamposite One in three fan-faviorite colorways of -Royal, Copper and Eggplant, as part of their 2017 rollout, which celebrates the 20th anniversary of timeless shoe. While the information, pricing and release dates have yet to be announced for the rerelease of these Foamposites, the news of the upcoming sneakers has sneakerheads already buzzing and anticipating the 2017 releases.
