New Market on Main Coming to Downtown Evansville Beginning in June

A lot of folks were disappointed to learn of the closing of the Friday Farmer's Market in downtown Evansville. The Evansville Economic Improvement District heard you and they plan to launch the Market on Main, coming to downtown Evansville on Wednesdays beginning June 5th. The market will take place at the plaza outside Ford Center, according to a Facebook post by Evansville Mayor Lloyd Winnecke. According to another post from Healthy Communities Partnership,  the new farmer's market will run through September 18th each Wednesdays 9:30 am - 1:30 pm.
