Even when Halestorm aren't touring, you can find Lzzy Hale singing at a venue. The frontwoman recently sang the Soundgarden classic "My Wave" at a Nashville club with local band, Slider. Watch a video below.

Hale's pipes are the perfect match to tackle a song originally sung by the late Chris Cornell — whom the Halestorm frontwoman has openly been a big fan of for quite some time. Halestorm have covered Soundgarden's "Fell on Black Days" and "Black Hole Sun," in addition to Temple of the Dog's "Hunger Strike," both live and in the studio.

The other night, Nashville rockers Slider were holding an album release party at the Basement when Hale joined them on stage for a cover of the Superunknown hit "My Wave." Drummer Arejay Hale and guitarist Joe Hottinger also joined the vocalist for an acoustic Halestorm set to open the show. Casual.

Halestorm are off to Europe next month to kick off another tour with In This Moment and New Years Day. See the dates here.
