Mondays usually suck, but ,my Monday started off pretty awesome thanks to Lou Diamond Phillips.

Everyone knows who Lou Diamond Phillips is. And if you don't, you should educate yourself. La Bamba, Young Guns, Stand and Deliver, SGU Stargate Universe, and Longmire are just SOME of the movies and tv shows you should watch

Here's the story of how this twitter interaction happened:

I am a bit behind when it comes to movies. There are a LOT of movies that I haven't seen. So in order to stop my friends from constantly saying "YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THAT??" I'm trying to fix this by watching all the movies I've apparently missed out on.

So a few weeks back I watched Young Guns and Young Guns 2 for the first time and my favorite character was Chavez y Chavez played by Lou Diamond Phillips. Not only was he my favorite character, I also had a weird obsession with his hair. Seriously. Go watch Young Guns again. His hair is so majestic it should be a L'Oreal commercial.

So, I was planning to go to HorrorHound, a horror convention in Indianapolis this past weekend, where Lou Diamond Philips was going to be signing autographs.

Unfortunately, about a month or so ago I started having some really bad health problems, of which I am still recovering from. These problems cause me to not be able to travel for more than 20 minutes without feeling ill. So a 3 hour car drive to Indy was out of the picture.

I was devastated. I wasn't going to meet Lou, or tell him how much I envied his hair in Young Guns...

But, as it turns out, my friends are amazing. Because THEY went to HorrorHound and explained my predicament to Lou and got an autograph for me.

They told me that he's a really nice guy who was genuinely concerned about my illness and told them to tell me to get well soon. And I just about melted on the spot when they told me this. I definitely had a fangirl moment. I mean, you would too if you got an autograph from one of your favorite actors and then also found out that they were an amazing person that genuinely cared about your well being. I HAD A MOMENT.

And I would have just been happy with that.

BUT LOU WASN'T DONE WITH ME YET.

You see, when I got the autograph from my friends, I tweeted about how awesome Lou was, and how the autograph didn't cure me, but it did make me feel SO much better.

And then I didn't think much of the tweet.

UNTIL THIS MORNING.

WHEN I WOKE UP TO THIS.

I'm sorry, WHAT??

THIS IS THE BEST MONDAY IN ALL OF EXISTENCE.

My happy meter is full for the next 3 months!
