Ahhh. The good old reliable bug zapper. The onomatopoeia of insect decimation. Bug zappers have come a long way since their invention in the 1930s and this Flowtron Electronic Insect Killer proves it. Disguised as a decorative lantern this proven pest lure will rid your outdoor living area of flying insects by using nontoxic UV light instead of chemical insecticides. However, if you’re the type of person that likes to be in control of your bug zapping you may be more interested in hand-held electric fly swatter.

One of my absolute favorite things to do is enjoy a libation (or six) in a lawn chair. Go ahead and judge me, I'm far from ashamed because it brings me so much joy. Know what doesn't bring me joy? Being covered in flies while enjoying said libation. Thanks to this table salt powered insect eradication device, my lawn chair drinking is now fly free and a billion times more enjoyable. Don't forget to add in a Bug-Beam for added accuracy while one-eyeing.

Flies can ruin a good time in no time when you're trying to relax or entertain outdoors but these magical fly trap bags really help. I'm talking miracle work kind of help here as each bag can catch up to 40,000 flies! Gross! Set up is a cinch and once the bag is full you simply cut it down and throw it in the trash where those flies belong! I will warn you, though, the non-toxic attractant used in these bags smells like dead bodies so you'll want to hang it a good distance from where you're entertaining

If your dog isn’t taking some sort of oral flea and tick preventative chances are they’re going to bring them into your home over the next few months (the bugs, not the oral preventatives). Keep the creepy crawlies off your pet and out of your house with these chewable flea and tick treats. Dogs love the bacon taste and smell, owners love that they’re made from natural ingredients and don’t require a prescription and fleas and ticks just hate ‘em. It’s a win-win-win.

Some dogs are reactive to certain medicines and chemicals and some other dogs are gigantic which ups the cost of their flea and tick preventatives. Enter: Insect Shield. The most adorable long-lasting, effective and convenient insect protection for your pet. Insect Shield’s repellent is bonded to the fabric keeping it near your dog's skin rather than directly on it and there’s never any need for re-application. If you think the Premium Tee is cute, do yourself a favor and check out the Insect Shield Bandana and Neck Gaiter. All are adorable and all are effective.

I’m sure you’re wondering why lint rollers are included in this post but hear me out on this one. I have been using lint rollers for years to pull ticks off myself and my dog after hiking and it works every time. Rather than going through the painful process of checking myself and my furry buddy for ticks I just swipe us both down with a lint roller and it picks up ticks that haven't been spotted yet. Trust me, it never hurts to have a lint roller nearby during tick season.
