Wild Summer Lights Returns to Evansville
One of the most magical events of 2025 is making its glowing return this year! Mesker Park Zoo & Botanic Garden has officially announced that Wild Summer Lights, presented by Liberty Federal Credit Union, is coming back – starting July 30 and running through October 4!
What to Expect at This Year’s Event
If you loved it last year (or missed out), here’s what you can expect: each night, once the zoo closes, it transforms into a glowing, wonderland featuring more than a mile of stunning Chinese lantern displays. Created in partnership with Tianyu Arts & Culture, Inc., these larger-than-life displays blend art, culture, and nature into a truly unforgettable nighttime experience. It’s like stepping into another world, without leaving Evansville.
Live Music and Food Add to the Fun
In addition to the lanterns, guests to the zoo can enjoy live performances from local musicians, plus a rotating lineup of food trucks. Whether you’re planning a date night, a family outing, or just looking for something fun to do with friends, Wild Summer Lights offers something for everyone.
